'& Juliet' roars through the Civic Theatre on its touring run

Rarely is R&J buoyant and bright, but & Juliet is flipping the script — so to speak — soundly on its head as the touring production enjoys its first swing through San Diego. Somehow, surprisingly, the new musical finds a way to be both, despite the death and drama, in its reimagining of Juliet's choices post-Romeo.
